Making America Hate Again. Failure is tRump.

         The entire tRump gang are 2nd and 3rd string DEI hires, from alcoholics to sadists to liars to pedophiles, the bottom of the dumpster is being high pressure cleaned to accumulate only the most rank foul offal to ever desire power and to believe in their ability to make things great again (without knowing what that could possibly mean) or simply kill it, whichever comes first.

Iconoclasm of institutional proportions is their imagined form of artistry. They must control what should be free. They are against all that is good in society, it is symbolized by 58$ gold painted plastic medallions and tracery, a "ballroom?" (How very 18th century) and concreted garden where roses once perfumed the neocolonial architecture. It is the loss of bodily rights for women, it is the unceasing transphobia that leaks into every discussion, it is the vicious tax cuts for AmeriKKKa's wealthiest leeches, it is racist immigration deportations...

Under tRump, America is dying. Everything he touches dies; just ask Charlie... The controversies of policy aside, America as an example, as " the shining city on the hill" has been erased. Like some twisted revision of history, the Nazis have won, the new imperial China will be their partner and We, the People...will be fair game. It is painful to see the poverty of American wealth and the vapid intellect of materialist authoritarianism combining to bring a decent people to heel. 

The American Dream is now the Billionaire Scheme, the sinking dollar feigns strength and the backslapping is frantic in its rosey propaganda while tens of millions fear the next day for want of security, stability and civil rights. Farmers are killing themselves in tRumpmerica thanks to his economy-destroying racism. Food, fuel and fun are all unaffordable for the vast majority of working Americans, aid already purchased is burned and the hungry are deprived of even the most basic support. For 50 years I have watched this all accumulate, dark clouds before the storm. The stormtroopers,  hail ICE, ready as the National Guard to abuse, oppress and arrest Americans, to shoot them. It is coming. I watch, my "big man self with tears in my eyes" and all I can think is how undeserving Lincoln was of his fate.

Violent hopes

  One of the great violences of the moment we are living is that it has extinguished hope. It truly feels like we are living at the end of the world, and that has left many of us unable to imagine a better world. Many are even debating whether reproducing a next generation of human beings is ethical.  So many people are dealing with consuming despair and a sense of resignation and powerlessness. To forge the kinds of collective emancipatory movements we desperately need, at some point, everyone has to discover in ourselves the sense that the world really could be better. This sense of positive aspiration, of revolutionary possibility, is something we need to find both in ourselves and in the relationships between us.  I call this, "soulful feeling".  I now have determined that the only hope for America is to shoot your way out of fascism.
